We’d like to pick apart (pun intended!) our “pick and pack” service and why we confidently offer this service to our clients. In a world that’s run by e-commerce, pick and pack fulfillment is a popular method for shipping orders. But what exactly does it mean to “pick and pack” an order?
Pick and pack fulfillment is used when our clients need to ship items directly to their individual customers. Unlike large bulk orders sent to retailers, this fulfillment method is used for smaller orders that can involve hundreds of items to “pick” from.
Our warehouse will store entire cases of products for our clients. Employees will then pick individual items from these cases to complete unique orders to customers. Borderline keeps track of all the orders in real-time so our clients know exactly how much of their products we have in stock. This helps our clients meet their market demand and avoid costly over-investment.
Pick and pack fulfillment is an efficient method for getting orders out quickly to our clients’ customers. We store all the products at our 46,000 square foot warehouse so we can process orders immediately without having to travel to different storage facilities.
