When we first opened in 1956, we worked largely in warehousing for the automotive industry. This was the golden age of the automobile and the North American auto industry was booming. Our location in the Niagara region next to the US-Canada border gave us a competitive advantage because we were easily accessible to auto manufacturers in both countries. Our clients relied on us to assist them in meeting the high demand for vehicles.

While Canadian warehousing has changed over the years, Borderline continues to support the automotive industry through our partnership with Magna International. As the largest auto parts manufacturer in North America, Magna is leading the way in developing technology for the future of mobility. At Borderline, we are honoured to warehouse and distribute the company’s auto parts at our 46,000 square foot facility.

We’ve also expanded our services to support the retail industry on both local and global scales. We’re proud to partner with small businesses that need cost-effective warehousing and distribution solutions to help them grow. For example, we work closely with wineries across Niagara and Ontario to expand their reach to customers. Our efforts include the recent expansion of warehouse space to improve our wine storage solutions.

In addition, our Borderline team welcomes the rise of e-commerce. Not only do we ship to major retailers including Amazon and Costco, but we’re experienced in a wide range of shipping platforms. As online shopping continues to expand due to the effects of COVID-19, we can confidently say that we’re ready to handle any changes that come our way.
