Products to Keep Renovations Rolling

This weekend’s home renovation project is brought to you by...Borderline!

If you have a few more household projects to wrap up before our cold Canadian winter arrives, our Borderline team is here to help! While our team can’t physically be there to cross those projects off your list, we are working behind the scenes to make sure you have everything you need to get them done.

Many of the home improvement retail giants depend on us for our warehousing services. As a major Canadian warehouse, we ensure that the tools and building products are there when you need them. And when your project is nearly complete, we’ll ensure you have the finishing touches such as furniture and appliances too. Borderline’s warehousing services are trusted by these retailers because we keep their shelves stocked and their prices low.

Let’s look at the retailers we partner with to keep your renovations rolling!

Lowe’s

Before Lowe’s became the established home improvement chain we know today, it was one of the little guys. The company started as a single hardware store in 1921 in North Carolina. Over the years, Lowe’s grew nationally and by 2007, the company expanded into Canada. Even with its expansion, Lowe’s continues to offer the same level of service you come to expect from a small hardware store. The retailer is one of the leading stores for home renovation products and building materials.

Canadian Tire

You rarely meet someone who hasn’t been to Canadian Tire at least once in their life. The quintessentially Canadian retailer is known as the go-to place for more than just automotive products. In 1922, two brothers combined their savings to purchase a tire and garage store in Toronto. A year later, the business was renamed the Canadian Tire Corporation and history was made. With more than 1700 locations across the country, Canadian Tire has a large inventory of hardware, tools, maintenance and decor products for all kinds of home improvement projects.

Home Depot

There’s no mistaking the infamous orange of Home Depot! Since its expansion into Canada in 1994, the US-based company has established itself as a major retailer in the home improvement industry. Home Depot is a leading choice for lumber and building materials by contractors and DIYers alike. The retailer also offers an extensive range of flooring products, home appliances, and lighting fixtures to add those finishing touches to your home renovation.

Home Hardware

Home Hardware has always maintained the feeling of a neighbourhood hardware store. The Canadian retailer was officially established in 1967 when 122 independent hardware stores formed a co-operative. With over 1100 member stores throughout Canada, Home Hardware is a recognized brand for home improvement products including paint, electrical supplies, and lumber. The retailer also operates a series of Home Furniture stores that feature Canadian-made products.

Borderline is proud to work with each of these retailers to meet their unique warehousing needs. We adapt our services to meet the new demands of retail and e-commerce without sacrificing fair pricing and exceptional customer service. This means our clients can continue to offer affordable products - and you can accomplish those home projects just in time for winter!
